Tensas exams finish end of june and hel be back but ive got 4 months of hols to wow and catch up on 8D and congrats dil hope bryan is doing well and a raiding prodigy in about 2 years :P

A New Hope of Bronze Dragonflight

A New Hope has been a leveling guild since the Bronze Dragonflight Server was opened.
It has changed into a fun raiding guild since 6 February 2009.

Progression:

  • Black Wing Descent 10: 3/6
  • Bastion of Twilight 10: 1/4
  • Throne of the 4 Winds 10: 1/2
  • Baradin Hold 10: 1/1

Raid Schedule:

Look at the ingame calendar for sign up!

Start of a week we start with fresh instances. How they will be looking is like this:

A note upfront. All times are game times. You will have to sign up to the calendar to have a better chance of being invited in to a raid. However if you sign up and don't show up on time you will get less priority on next raids. This as people might be hesitant to sign up if they see that the raids are overbooked.

We have scheduled a raid for every day of the week however we realise that not every evening it is possible to find enough people. For the ICC raids all will depend on people enough geared

Wednesday: Weekly Baradin Hold raids. Only if we hold the pvp area

Thurdays: Baradin Hold or other Starts at 20:50 ends at 23:00

Fridays: Blackwing or Twilight raid. Starts at 20:50 ends at 24:00

Saturdays: fun raids or whatever. Starts at 20:30 ends at 24:00

Sundays: Blackwing or Twilight raid. Starts at 20:50. Ends at 24:00.

Monday: To be decided Starts at 20:50. Ends at 23:00.

Tuesday: PvP team and fun raid or 3rd day of a raid group

These times are fixed. This means we raid on these days and we don't change the times. Ofc if a raid supposed to end at 23:00 but nobody minds raiding an additional hour. You are allowed to raid till 24:00. But only if everybody is up to it. If one person can't, You are not allowed to continue or to replace if that person does not aggree.

Also it is not allowed to make a team and not invite people you know that only raid till 23:00. Raider > Member > Try-out will be the invite order and sign up goes before non sign-up. Even if that means you have to end at 23:00.

Medic just added an other 6 month for the vent and guild site. All donations are welcome to keep the site up

Cataclysm and guildprogression

Guild achievements:

As you can all see in game we are making progress on the guild xp and are now a level 12 guild. The last week we do not always manage to get the daily guild experience, a pity but we can not do all at the same time. We managed this week the Cata HC dungeon achievement and the outland HC dungeon hero !! For those that want to help with achievements for pre Cata content we might organise a regular 2-weekly raiding evening for those raids.

Raiding:

After a bit more then 1 month of Cata we started the 15th of January to raid again. At this moment we only got the Baradin Hold boss on farm but we are learning the tactics for the other raids.

We can see that we really need all people to be at least 4k GS on wow-heroes to ensure that we got a chance to kill the raid bosses. We tried the last 2 weeks with one or 2 chars that had lower GS but if you can not do 10k dps or more on a boss it is hard to invite you to a raid at this moment.

We welcome all the old members that have come back since Cata and also the new members. We hope you enjoy playing with us

Cataclysm and guildprogression

Second day into Cataclysm today......

yesterday we got to the maximum of guildrep that we could get easily. Today it will be different as e.g. handigmedic, tippa, gimlih and other lvl 82s from first day can't add anymore guildrep for a whole week. I might play tonight hanelf and invite you all to play one hour on an alt a bit to ensure that we really get max guildrep each day. Like normaly we will have from today on additional 5% rep and xp while killing things and questing.

We had already quite some people that got achievements with professions and hope that some other professions will be maxed out also soonest. Dilerium will put up on the forums who in the guild will be responsible for each profession.

Maxed professions 07/12/2010 if I remember correctly :

Tippa, herbalism
shaleena, skinning-leatherworking
Gimlih, mining
Medic, fishing and cooking

Guild Applications

We are looking for members to strenghten our raid roster. We are not a hardcore raiding guild and we try to let everybody raid.

Please look what classes we are recruiting. But even if your class is closed. You can always try to apply. Because if we like your application. You can always be invited.

Please be honest in your application. And use your main characters name. That you are recruiting with.

If you sign up on website. Make sure you activate your account with the email that has been send to you. Otherwise you wont be able to sign up.

Tanks are currently limited. But there is still a chance you get a invite. So still try.

Apply only if you 80. We dont accept people below lvl 80
